Fees

We arrange fees for legal services with clients on an individual basis with consideration for the nature and specifics of the particular case, how complex it is, and the demands on time and expertise required. >Contractual fees may be arranged as follows subject to individual agreement with the client:

  • hourly rate – the client is billed the arranged amount according to the number of hours of legal services provided
  • a fixed sum for the full handling of a particular matter
  • flat rate – a regular, set payment irrespective of the amount of time and the labour intensity within a set period
  • percentage of the value or result of the case – setting the fee at an agreed percentage of the awarded claim or at a fixed rate
  • a combination of the options outlined above

Statutory fees are determined according to Decree No. 177/1996 Sb. on lawyers' fees and compensation of lawyers for the provision of legal services (the Lawyer's Tariff) per one act of a legal service.

The fee for legal services does not include cash expenses relating to the legal services provided; for example, court and other fees, travel expenses, and costs of third-party services or products (translations, expert reports, etc.).

Certain attorneys at Prague Attorneys are VAT payers.
